Here are some helpful tips and travel information so you can experience the best of Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta, from restaurant and spa reservations to dress codes, activities, and more.

GENERAL INFORMATION


  • All of our suites are equipped with standard North American sockets (Type A, sometimes Type B). If traveling with European, Asian or non North American appliences/devices, we recommend bringing an adaptor. Please note that our rooms do not offer 220V sockets.
  • Visa, Master Card, and American Express, only.
  • No, the only rates we offer are all-inclusive.
  • Yes, we have two ATMs on-site, one of which is located in the main lobby. One ATM dispenses Mexican Pesos (MXN), the other dispenses U.S. Dollars (USD).
  • Yes. A pre-authorized HOLD may be applied. Please consult with our Front Desk staff for specific details.
  • No, we do not offer pre-arrival check-in.
  • Yes, however room upgrades are subject to availability. Additional fees may apply except for World of Hyatt members, including: Discoverist, Explorist, and Globalist members. For more details, visit https://www.hyatt.com/world
  • Your all-inclusive plan includes meals, drinks, entertainment, and many fun activities . However, we recommend bringing extra cash for off-site expenses, spa services, tours, and transfers. The resort will provide US Dollar to Mexican Peso exchange services subject to availability. Cash payments are accepted in CAN/US Dollars, and Mexican Pesos.
  • In-Room Safes are included in all suite categories. Our resort is not liable for unnattended items left in public areas.
  • Yes. Please contact resort for further details, hurricane policies are liable to change.
  • Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta is smoke-free family resort, however we do offer designated areas where smoking is allowed.
  • All tips and gratuities are included in your all-inclusive package. Additional gratuities are most welcome by our staff should services exceed your expectations.
  • We recommend not to drink faucet/tap water, the resort will provide filtered and bottled water at all time. Water and ice cubes served at all resort venues are always filtered and safe to drink. Certified by third party auditors, our resort is compliant to the highest level in industry sanitation standards.
  • A medical doctor is available on-site from 8:00am to 8:00pm, at additional cost. Certified lifeguards are available in pool and beach areas, first aid is provided on a 24 hour basis for emergency situations. We hold the highest level of safety industry standards, however the resort will hold a limited liability for emergency situations incurred by guests.
  • 18 years of age.
  • Pets are not allowed.
  • No, we currently do not offer private babysitting services.

INCLUSIONS


  • All drinks and meals are included. On-site entertainment, fitness facilities, non-motorized aquatic sports (kayak tours), daily outdoor and indoor activities, in-suite minibar, free wifi, and kids/teens recreational areas are included. TRANSPORTATION


  • We are located at an approximately thirty-minute drive from Puerto Vallarta International Airport, and an approximately five-minute drive to downtown Puerto Vallarta.
  • No. However, the resort can offer assistance in arranging airport transfers offered by third-party vendors at an additional cost. You may book airport transfers and other transport services prior to arrival via email: [email protected].
  • No, however for an additional fee you may book a shuttle or transfer service via email: [email protected].
  • Yes, we offer guest-only free self-service parking, valet parking is not available.

DINING


  • • Resort Casual

    • All dining venues and bars:
    - Shoes, shorts, and tops must be worn at all restaurants, guests cannot be barefoot
    - No wet clothes allowed at any restaurant

  • For an optimal dining experience, we strongly recommend booking your reservations for our specialty restaurants: Casa Grande, Melanzane, Pureza, and Blaze. Group reservations of 9 or less may be made onsite after check-in through our Food and Beverages Concierge. For groups of over 9 people, an option of a private dining setting is available at an additional fee, with either the choice of the restaurant’s regular menu or a catered banquet kit.
  • Yes, the resort offers gluten-free, vegetarian options, and additional assistance in accommodating special dietary needs (please notify the resort ahead of time).
  • Children's menus are available at all restaurants.
  • Yes, cocktails made with international and national premium branded spirits are available as part of our all-inclusive experience. Club guests will enjoy cocktails made with top-rated spirits at our VIP Lounge. Specialty wines and spirits, such as champagne are available for purchase
  • Yes. 24-hour, all-inclusive suite service is available, limited to the total number of guests per suite.
  • Restaurants close at 10:30PM or 11:00PM.
  • Both international and national beer brands are offered.
  • Yes, the legal drinking age in Mexico is 18. You must be 18 years and older to enter our bars.
  • All of our restaurants are open year-round. One or two restaurants may close during themed nights. Please contact the hotel for further details.
  • For a party of over 9 people, the option of a private dining setting is available at an additional fee with either the choice of the restaurant’s regular menu or a catered banquet kit. Group dining needs to be scheduled in advance, please contact our Groups Desk to book.
  • Yes, we offer a swim-up bar and an adults-only pool-bar.
  • Rooms located in the Main Tower are stocked with beer, soft drinks, juice, and bottled water. Club Tower rooms are additionally stocked with mini-bottles of rum and whisky.

  • Children are welcome at every restaurant, and there are no restrictions. Our bars are restricted to adults ages 18 and over.

ACCOMMODATIONS


  • Connecting rooms are currently not available.
  • You may only book a room category online. Special room requests are available, however subject to availability upon arrival.
  • Oceanfront rooms offer unobstructed, panoramic views of the ocean. Ocean View rooms may offer partial views of the ocean.
  • Rooms at the Main Tower offer juliette balconies. We also offer a specific Balcony Room category that may be booked or upgraded at an additional cost during check-in. All Club Tower rooms offer private furnished balconies.
  • Yes, we provide activities and resort amenities for all ages, including kids and teens.
  • Offering an exceptional hospitality experience, our Concierge Desk will be your first point of contact for any questions that you may have. Concierges can also assist you in booking both on-site and off-site activities. Our Concierge Desk is available from 9:00am to 9:00pm.
  • We offer king and double beds. Specific details on bedding configurations per suite are outlined in our suites section of website.
  • We offer ground floor suites that are fully equipped for guests with special physical needs, Please contact us to learn more and to book. Most areas in the resort are wheelchair accessible, one restaurant is not.

ACTIVITIES


  • Tours may be purchased at our on-site Tour Agency, located in the main lobby. These include Outdoor Adventure, Las Caletas Beach Hideaway, Dolphin Adventure, Rhythms of the Night, and Marietas Eco Discovery. For questions or to book an excursion, you may contact us via email: [email protected]
  • Activities are included in the all-inclusive plan such as games and fitness classes. Excursions are optional off-site activities offered by third-party vendors at an additional cost.
  • Yes, we offer large cabanas for rent. Please contact our Concierge Desk for pricing and inclusions. Palapas (shaded palms with lounge chairs) are available on a first come first serve basis.
  • Spa and beauty treatments are not included and are available at an additional fee. Treatments may be booked in advance, please call +52-322-226-5056 or email [email protected] .
  • No. Due to local regulations, nudity is not allowed in beach areas.
  • Yes, all pools are heated to 28C/83F aprox. during the winter months.
  • We offer all-inclusive watersports, including kayak tours and boogie boarding. There are also off-premise tours available for a fee: jet skis, paddle boarding, kayaking, and catamarans.
  • Yes, we offer photography services through a third-party and are subject to a fee. Arrangements can be made by emailing [email protected] during your stay or prior to arrival.
