Puerto Morelos

Tucked away on the Caribbean coastline on Mexico’s northeastern Yucatan Peninsula is Puerto Morelos. The private, secluded beach area is a quick 20-minute drive from the Cancun International Airport, 30 minutes from downtown Cancun and 40 minutes from Playa del Carmen. Cenotes Route

The Cenotes Route is home to hundreds of cenotes—underground rivers and ancient caves, surrounded by jungle and with crystal clear waters, you can swim, dive, ride zip lines and even rent bicycles or ATVs. You can also find the Toh Bird Reserve, an ideal place for bird watching and hiking.

Palancar Reef

Part of the Arrecifes de Cozumel National Park, the 3.5- mile long Palancar is a blend of several different coral formations, with dive depths ranging from 50 to 115 feet. The labyrinthine Little Caves area is home to amazing passageways, canyons and tunnels to explore. The popular diving spot is home to exciting species like Hawksbill Turtles, Splendid Toadfish, Goliath Grouper, Moray Eel and more.

Tulum Ruins

Located 100 miles (62 km) to the south of Playa del Carmen (around 30 minutes), Tulum, which means wall in Maya is the only Mayan city built on a coast. The town once served as a major gateway for connecting the Yucatan Peninsula and the Gulf of Mexico with the Mayan peoples of Honduras and modern-day Central America. The well-preserved site makes an exciting day trip and boasts its own beautiful beach.

El Camaleón Mayakoba Golf Course

El Camaleón is the first PGA Tour golf course in Latin America. Greg Norman’s first design in Mexico, this 7024-yard layout is the home site of the OHL Classic, the first PGA Tour event outside the US and Canada. The clubhouse overlooks the 18th green and features a fine dining restaurant with stunning views of the course.
